21 October 2024 – Over the last three years, Hikma has developed strong partnerships with local health organisations and national blood programmes to help support blood shortages across the MENA region, a project we are very proud of.  

The contributions of Hikma volunteers across Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iraq, Egypt, Sudan, Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco have led to a meaningful impact. From 2021 onwards, our annual blood drives have resulted in a collective donation amount exceeding 1,600 litres of blood. Our partnerships with more than 10 local health organisations and national blood banks guarantee that our donations are delivered to those that need it most. 

As we continue to advance health and wellbeing within our communities, we remain committed to supporting blood donations. Every contribution counts, and we are dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of this, encouraging our employees to become active participants in saving lives and contributing to the welfare of others.
